Fee schedule

At our clinic on Bribie Island, we offer a range of speech therapy services, with fees outlined below.

​​Speech Pathologist
  • Initial Consultation & Assessment: 60 minutes - $290.98
  • Short Appointment: 30 minutes - $129.32
  • Standard Appointment: 45 minutes - $193.99
  • Extended Appointment: 60 minutes - $242.48
Fees are based on an hourly rate of $193.99. All fees include non face-to-face time (planning, preparation, analysis of progress and documentation). 

Allied Health Assistant 
  • Short Appointment: 30 minutes - $78.48
  • Standard Appointment: 45 minutes - $117.73
  • Extended Appointment: 60 minutes - $156.97
Fees are based on an hourly rate of $86.79. All fees include non face-to-face time for feedback and planning with the speech pathologist. 

​All other items (report writing, mealtime management plans, stakeholder meetings, coaching/training for caregivers/families, custom resource development, etc.) will be billed at the speech pathologist rate of $193.99 or Allied Health Assistant rate of $86.79.  

Funding

Our services can be accessed through a range of funding options.
NDIS
  • We are able to support participants who are self-managed or plan-managed under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). 
Private clients
  • Clients are welcome to access services privately. 
Aged Care
  • We provide services for older adults accessing Home Care Packages and the Support at Home program through approved aged care providers.
Medicare - Chronic Condition Management plan (care plan)
  • Some clients may be eligible for Medicare rebates through Chronic Condition Management (CCM) plans arranged by their GP.
M10 Referral Pathway (Speech Sound Disorders)
  • Children and young people with Speech Sound Disorders (difficulty with speech pronunciation) may be eligible for funding through the M10 referral pathway. This requires a referral from a GP or paediatrician and allows individuals under 25 years of age to receive Medicare rebates (currently $87.25 per session) for up to 8 assessment sessions and up to 20 treatment sessions.
Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)
  • Eligible veterans may access speech pathology services through DVA referrals.
Private Health Insurance
  • Some private health funds offer rebates for speech pathology services. Please check with your health fund to confirm your level of cover.
